On November 28, 2019, the students and teachers of Mother's International Academy in Sikta took a collective pledge to stand against crowd violence.
The initiative, supported by the Dainik Bhaskar newspaper’s awareness campaign, aimed to educate the youth on the dangers of mob mentality. During the event, school director Mahamaham Prasad Yadav highlighted that violence is never a solution to any problem. He urged the students to avoid rumors and cautioned them against becoming part of any violent crowds, which often lead to innocent people suffering.
The school faculty, including the Principal Naushad Sheikh, Shivmangal Pandey, Shakeel Ahmad, and others, guided the students on their constitutional duties as citizens. They emphasized that if students encounter suspicious activities or crowds in nearby villages, they should immediately inform the police rather than taking matters into their own hands.
